In this video you can see the shoulder joint from inside using the endoscope (arthroscope) which is used for repair of the anterior shoulder dislocation damaged soft tissue that is causing the shoulder to become unstable and dislocates.
Notice the surgery is carried out while the patient is in sitting position and as a day surgery procedure which does not require admission and overnight stay. The surgical wounds are 2 small wounds less than 1 cm and the arm is kept in a sling after the surgery for 40 days with instructions on how to sleep and to take shower without the arm sling (shoulder brace).
There are home exercises that can be started one week after the operation.
